Dwight R. Hunsicker has more than 28 years of experience in sales, marketing and business development activities associated with communications networks, products, and services for government organizations. During his tenure with Globecomm Systems Inc. (now Speedcast Government), Mr. Hunsicker helped build the company’s business base to represent more than 50% of the company’s revenue. Prior to Globecomm, Mr. Hunsicker was with WorldLinks Incorporated, which he cofounded to provide professional engineering/consulting services to domestic, international and U.S. government clients. He also previously worked at Westinghouse Electric Corporation’s communications division on the pursuit of new business development and strategic direction.

Mr. Hunsicker served in the U.S. Navy on active duty for eight years as a Naval Flight Officer flying A-6E and EA-6B carrier-based jet aircraft. He amassed more than 1,500 flight hours and flew more than 20 combat missions in support of Operation Urgent Fury (Grenada) and multinational peacekeeping activities in Lebanon from 1983-84.

Mr. Hunsicker holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree (Mechanical Engineering) from Vanderbilt University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Sellinger School of Business at Loyola University in Maryland.
